A few tips to ensure that your beer
retains a good head :
1. the glass :
- Always serve a beer in a glass of adequate size as the
body of the glass plays an important rôle in permitting
the aroma and flavour to develop, as well as retaining the
head.
- Never wash a beer glass in a dishwasher.
- Wash the glass in hot water with a little detergent, rinse
copiusly in warm water, allow to drain then wipe the glass
with a clean dry cloth.
2. serving :
There are two techniques according to your
preference:
- With yeast: beer with a taste of yeast and a more pronounced
bitternes. Yeast is rich in vitamin B. Pour ? of the bottle
into its glass. Disperse the yeast deposit by swirling around,
and add the rest of the bottle.
- Without yeast: giving just the intrisic flavour of the
beer. Pour the beer gently into its glass so that the bed
of yeast at the bottom of the bottle does not come away.
3. keeping :
- Duration : 4 years at cellar temperature shielded from
light.
- Position of the bottle : vertical so that the yeast deposit
remains adhered to the bottom of the bottle .
- Keep upright in the fridge before drinking.
